Character Design (Greyscale)

To start off creating my character I decided on a stance for my character, the gender and the build. The first design I did was the skeletal design for my character drawn out using a Bamboo Tablet (Top Left).

I drew out the characters features and gave him a basic armour design on a new layer over the top of the skeletal design, I then built up the characters armour, giving him more detailed armour and rounding off scruffy edges.

Once I was happy with my design I coloured the character in a greyscale style, showing the light direction and the shades of colour that would be needed for each individual segment of the armour once I come to colouring him in in colour.
